  Engineering grade nonwoven geotextiles

  Profile

  Non-woven Geotextiles are made from 100% staple polyester and polypropylene needle-punched filter fabric. They have excellent waterflow rates and drainage for the filtration of soil fines. Non-woven Geotextiles have a variety of uses, some of which include trench drains and wrapping perforated pipe to protect against erosion and being combined with geomembranes to provide protective cushioning. Other uses include tensile reinforcement, filtration, and separation for roads, roofs, railroads, ponds, dams, trenches, landfills, protection for shoreline and membrane liners, sub-grade stabilization, erosion control, and many other civil engineering and construction uses. This product is resistant to tears and punctures, soil chemicals, UV rays, mildew, and freeze thaw.

  Applications

  It is sometimes hard to define the functions of the geotextiles, because their functions are almost exploited together: the porous and tough fabrics keep the strength of the soil and aggregates while let water (in most cases rainwater) penetrate therethrough. Such functions (officially defined as separation, filtration, stabilization, erosion control, etc., which can find the specific applications as follows (never exclusive to the mentioned below):

  Paved and unpaved roads, railway, airport field, landfill, embankments, retaining walls, slopes, soft foundations, tunnels, landscaping and building structures, etc.

  The glass fiber geogrid is an excellent composite material used for road reinforcement and soft soil foundation improvement.It has become an indispensable material in treatment of reflection crack on asphalt road surface.the product is a semi-rigid mesh base made from high-strength alkaline-free glass fibre through international advanced process and subjected to surface coating.It has a high tensile strength and a lower elongation both vertically and horizontally.Moreover,it has good resistance to high and low temperature,aging and corrosion.It is widely used in asphalt wall,railway foundation,dike slope,runway and sand harnessing.
